Advertising In Movie Theater

Lifepoint starts advertising at the movie theater today. This slide should run at least 3 times, sometimes as many as 6 times before each movie in the Owasso 10 Theatre.

The Vanishing Banners

I drove by the movie theatre to check on some things today. I noticed the grassy area behind the sidewalk was missing something....OUR BANNERS!! I went in and talked to the employees in the theatre. They didn't know anything about it. The poles and both banners are missing.

My theory is someone used the 5 finger discount on our banners.

Sunday

Here are some of the highlights from Sunday.

• We finished up the last week of a 4 week sermon series - "Go For It."

• We pick up a couple kids each Sunday. We've been telling them to invite some frieds. On Sunday they did just that. Sunday morning Jimmy gets a call that instead of 3 there will be 6. No big deal. One of the families setting up drives a Dodge Durango. We were going to use it to pick them up. Well...Jimmy gets another call a few minutes later...now the number is up to 9. So, we drove 2 vehicles and picked them up - awesome!! We need a van.

• We had 6 first time guest and 1 second time guest.

• From time to time we use media during the service. This week was a first. We put together our own video. Everyone involved did a tremendous job putting it together on short notice. You can check out the video below. Caution: It's funny. Don't watch unless you want to laugh...and laugh...and laugh.
