We finished up our teaching series on 1 John. Here is a summary of the day.
- Preached about "What We Know"
- In 1 John 5:14-21 the word "know" is used 6 times.
- How great is it that God made sure we know about salvation and how to honor Him with our life.
- The last part of 1 John 5:19 is sad. The whole world is stretched out, wrapped up, and comfortable in evil.
- Because 1 John 5:19 is so sad 1 John 5:20 is such good news. It tells us that Jesus came to earth. He is the true God and in Him is eternal life.

- Thankful we have volunteers that are flexible and fill in wherever there is a need--thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- It's been a long time since I've seen Jimmy lead music by himself. He did a great job.
- The newest Lifepointer who was born last Sunday was in the service - James Elijah Hammond (Eli).
- We sang the song "Days Of Elijah" during the offering...coincidence...I don't think so.
- The Lifepoint sign is in my garage. It is getting a makeover this week.
